The current Toulouse FC was founded in 1970 and soon adopted its famous purple colour.
This season Toulouse released a limited run of 350 replicas of the 1982/83 shirt, made with COPA, alongside the new home kit.
Toulouse beat Nantes 5–1 in the 2023 Coupe de France final to win the club's first major trophy, which took them into the Europa League.
What does the Toulouse FC logo mean?
The crest uses Toulouse's purple and white, and the purple gives the team its nickname, "Les Violets". Fans also call the club "le Téfécé", from the letters TFC. The pink on this season's away shirt is a nod to "La Ville Rose".

Toulouse usually play at home in purple, often with white details, and white away. Nike makes the 2026/27 kits. This season sees the return of the classic purple and white stripes at home and a "Ville Rose" away shirt in white and pink.
